An email with the link will be sent out to subscribers at 12 (noon) est on the day of the opening for collectors to view the pieces. Subscribers will then be available to purchase from 2 pm (est). Doors open for the opening reception and in-person sales at 6 pm. The remaining items are available to the general public on the site around 9 pm (est) depending on when the reception closes.

How it Works

Viewing Period
There will be a online viewing period, which means you will get a fair chance to look through the pieces before purchasing. This is to allow time for all ‘preview listers’ to receive the e-mail link and look through pieces in the show. After the allocated viewing period has expired, we will make all items available for purchase. Sales are on a first-come, first-served basis.
Gallery Openings
Opening receptions happen every second saturday of the month (unless otherwise stated) at our Gallery located 163 Main St, Beacon, NY, 12508.

Sales
If for some reason online payment is not functioning (or any other problem using the online store) and a phone transaction is required, therefore delaying payment, please send us an e-mail and we can try to get that fixed for you. Stuff does happen.
All sales are final, original art may not be returned under any circumstances. If pieces have been received damaged in transit, we will work with you and our mail carrier to set it right… We just require photographs of the damaged item and the state of the container it arrived in.
Mitigating Circumstances
On occasion, certain artists do not want their pieces offered for preview. In these circumstances, we will offer a limited preview before the show, with a first chance link offered after the opening.
Any change in our Standard Preview procedure will be outlined in our Newsletter prior to the exhibition. We reserve the right to limit sales, especially in the case of a solo exhibition.
If, as occasionally happens with super limited items, we oversell a product, we will issues refunds to customers in order that we receive payment. The first transaction to collect on our site will be the customer who gets the item. No amount of complaining will change this policy. We do not enjoy telling our collectors bad news, so we appreciate your understanding in these situations. Any harassment or bullying to any Clutter staff member or artist around this issue will result in a permanent ban from our site.
Shipping
All gallery items will begin shipping 7-10 days after the close of the exhibition. Because the size and weight of packed artwork vary and shipping rates fluctuate, we do not charge shipping at the time of check out. In order to provide the best shipping rates, we calculate them once the package is sealed. You will receive a PayPal invoice or an email at the time of shipping.
