Clutter, established in 2004, is a portal to the global subculture community of Designer Toys and Underground Art. From festivals to art openings to pop-up events, we have our finger on the pulse of this diverse and welcoming community.
Our journey began in 2004
Our genesis was as the first English language physical magazine dedicated to Designer Toys. Born in the United Kingdom, we participated in many events, including co-curation of Hasbro’s Action Man 40th anniversary celebrations. Clutter moved to NYC in 2009 and soon opened its home base the Clutter Gallery.
Physical Gallery Space and Museum
As a Gallery, Clutter works closely with international artists to curate original shows and releases. We have shown artists from afar afield as South Korea, Japan, Italy, the United Kingdom & more.
With openings every Second Saturday of the Month at our Physical location in historic art town Beacon, NY, home to world-renowned DIA gallery, we are a destination for Designer Toy Lovers everywhere
Scultpure & Art Toy Production in NY and China
Whether it’s a high-end resin made in our New York fabrication studio, or collectible vinyl produced using one of our overseas manufacturing partners in China or Japan, Clutter puts love, hard work, and dedication into every piece we create. We work with an amazing roster of international artists, that we are honored to call our friends.
The East Coasts Premier Design Toy Festival
With multiple events throughout the year, we are dedicated to providing the toy community with in-person gatherings and toy releases, all culminating with Clutters’ Five Points Festival and the Designer Toy Awards.
Five Points Festival, a curated Designer Toy, Indie Comic, Craft Beer, Kaiju & Sofubi, Street Art and Live Painting festival, is excited to announce the return of the much-anticipated event for 2020! The antidote to the average con, Five Points Fest brings together tastemakers, misfits, and rebels into a one-of-a-kind marketplace.
