Introducing Daniel Johnston’s Weirdees! A brand-new collection of premium sofubi-style soft vinyl art sculptures inspired by the unforgettable illustrations of Daniel Johnston.
The debut series features four iconic characters: Fly Eye, Nirvana Jeremiah, Joe Boxer, and Skully, available individually or as a complete set.
Each figure was hand-sculpted in wax by American Gross and is traditionally produced by hand in the USA by Lunch Lady Studios, using classic Japanese sofubi techniques. Every piece captures the raw, expressive, handmade quality of Daniel’s original drawings.
Drawing inspiration from the DIY spirit of Japanese sofubi and Daniel’s deeply personal, lo-fi aesthetic, the Weirdees transform his beloved drawings into dimensional works of collectible art.
